Although I'm not a morning person I like to see sunrise on some days. And personally I feel monsoon mornings are the best. When it has rained all night and the next morning everything feels so fresh and alive. Sky is filled with different colors and you can feel the positive energy from everything around you. That kind of morning I like.

That morning when I took the picture. It was early in the morning. I felt a sense of calmness and excited at the same time as we awaited for the sunrise. The still waters of the pool acted as a mirror reflecting the image of the building and that gave me a very calm feeling.

There was this one morning when my eyes went towards the bright colors of the sunrise seeping through the pillars of the Quezon Memorial Shrine. At that moment, I just had to stop and pause in awe of this magnificent view. For a brief amount of time, I forgot about the morning rush and was calmed by the warmth of this sunrise. Then I realized, every morning is just as beautiful and magnificent as this morning.

This photo was taken on a clear, sunny June morning at Odaiba, a beautiful island in Tokyo Bay, looking out towards the city. Odaiba is a must-see for its futuristic architectural creations as well as its green space and stunning views. I used the lens to show that whilst I found Tokyo to be one of the most friendliest and spiritually uplifing cities in Asia, it is just one part of the beautiful country that is Japan.
