Katsushika Iris Festival

The Horikiri Shobu Garden was born in Edo period, focusing on showing Iris for the first time in Japan. At the time, it appeared on a series of Meisho Edo Hyakkei, created by Hiroshige Ando. About 200 kinds of Iris bloom and the numbers of stocks are 6,000. Mizumoto Park is the only one, which has riverside in the park in Tokyo. Great views in each season make visiting people commune with nature. During this period, you can enjoy about 100 types and 14,000 stocks of Iris blooms are a sight to see. Iris festivals are being held in these 2 parks. During these festivals, you can also experience singing show or other events.
